What areas do you cover?
I operate in North London, covering areas: Crouch End, Hornsey, Muswell Hill (postcodes: N8, N10). If you don’t see your area here, don’t hesitate to contact me, I might still be able to help you.
Are you DBS checked and insured?
Yes, I am DBS checked and fully insured with Pet Business Insurance. In addition to that, I am registered member of NarpsUK and Pet First Aid certified. Don’t hesitate to contact me and ask to see any of the certificates.
Do you work on nights & weekends?
Lucie’s Pet Care is mostly around if you need to work late during the week or get some errands done on the weekend. Make sure you check my availability in advance. I keep my pricing simple; you'll pay the same flat rate for each and every one of your visits, with the rare bank holiday surcharge.
Do you administer medications?
Yes, I am happy to provide topical, oral, or hypodermic medications at no additional cost!
Will you leave a note about how my dog or cat did?
Yes, I will leave a note or text in case of dog walks and I you will keep you informed by e-mails with pictures. In addition to indicating bathroom procedures, our daily notes may cover the destination of the walk, the names of your dog's other friends, and any interesting wildlife (horses, fowl, tourists...). I report anything unusual with your pets health or habits. You can also feel free to check in with me via phone, text, or e-mail if you are concerned about your pet in your absence.
Do you keep dogs on the lead at all times?
Dogs are kept on the lead at all times unless I have your written permission and once I get to know your dog to be comfortable with him off lead.
Will you walk my dog on his own or with other dogs?
I will walk one dog at a time or with maximum four other dogs of similar size and energy.
How much time does my dog spend in a car?
I live locally and operate entirely on foot, allowing me to devote more time to your pet's care without worrying about parking, traffic, or extreme weather. Your dog will never spent any time in a car and the entire walk will be spent by actual walking.
Can I change my pet’s services and/or the days and times they take place?
Yes, I make it a priority to be flexible, and provide the services that are best for both you and your pet. You can change your pet’s services according to his/her development and maturity, or even the time of the year and weather conditions. I can also adjust the time and frequency of services to match a switch in work responsibilities or a rotating schedule.
What types of payment do you accept?
I accept payments via bank transfer and cash.
